Captain Grover's patience with Steve McGarrett is wearing thin in a new clip for Hawaii Five-O.

Pulled from this week's "O kēlā me kēia Manawa (Now and Then)," the sneak peek shows the Five-O leader trudging through a forest with a heavily armed Grover (Chi McBride). While the pair got off to a rough start (it's hard to warm to someone who pulled a gun on you), their forced collaboration during "Akanahe" resulted in at least a temporary thaw in their icy relationship.

McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) will team up with the SWAT captain once more when Grover's friend disappears after allegedly committing murder. McGarrett's knowledge of the island and his occasionally wooden demeanor will start to grate on the Chicago transplant, however, setting the duo up for some animosity laden banter fans seem to enjoy.

Now that McBride has be awarded the status of series regular, viewers will likely see much more of these interactions as the fourth season progresses.

"After his first guest spot, we knew we had something special here with Chi playing Captain Lou Grover," said executive producer Peter Lenkov, according to The Wrap. "He just fit seamlessly into the fabric of Hawaii Five-0 and viewers are enjoying the spirited, if sometimes antagonistic, interaction between him and McGarrett. "

Hawaii Five-0 airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. Check out stills for the upcoming episode by clicking here.
