NHL hockey fans can live stream Thursday night's faceoff between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Carolina Hurricanes online.

The two teams will take the ice at 7 p.m. ET from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C.

Coming into Thursday's match, the Maple Leafs have a 21-18-5 record. Despite having a strong start to the season, the Canadian team recently suffered a tough December with eight losses to their six wins. A victory over the Detroit Red Wings in the New Year's Day Winter Classic made it look like the Maple Leafs were off to a strong start in 2014, but a losses to the New York Rangers on Saturday and the New York Islanders on Tuesday proved otherwise. With 47 points, Toronto is currently fifth in the Atlantic Division.

Entering tonight's game, the Carolina Hurricanes have an 18-16-9 record. Although the Hurricanes kicked off the season with a loss to the Detroit Red Wings and then suffered a five-game losing streak in late December, Carolina has rallied in the New Year. After defeating the Montreal Canadiens on Dec. 31, the Hurricanes skated to victory against the Washington Capitals, the New York Islanders, and the Nashville Predators. With 45 points, Carolina is fifth for the Metropolitan Division.
