"You know there's been two movies in my career that I've really driven forward to try and make happen - one was The Aviator and the second was this," DiCaprio told The Telegraph at the premiere. "I've been incredibly passionate about trying to put this world up on screen ever since 2008 and the great economic crash that we had."

Aside from documenting corruption, the movie also managed to break the record for the most times the F-word was used in a film, The New York Daily News reported. The word was said 506 times, beating Spike Lee's 1999 hit, Summer of Sam, which used it 435 times.

The Martin Scorsese-directed film, which also stars Johan Hill and Matthew McConaughey, is in theaters now.
