Bobbi Kristina Brown and her longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon did in fact get secretly married, she confirmed via Twitter.

Whitney Houston's daughter tweeted a picture of their hands, and their new wedding bands, on Thursday, Jan. 9. She wrote, "#HappilyMarried. SO #Inlove. If you didn't get it the first time that is."

The bride, 20, and groom, 24, announced their engagement in October 2012 during a promo for their short-lived reality series, The Houstons: On Our. They broke up one month later.

"Were not engaged or dating," Gordon tweeted at the time. "Just close like we have always been."

In July 2013, Brown said their engagement was back on.

"YES, we me nick are engaged," the aspiring singer wrote on Facebook. "I'm tired of hearing people say 'eww your engaged to your brother' or 'if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this.'"

She clarified that she and Gordon are not "real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating."

Brown defended their romance, saying, "You may or may not agree with my relationship. You may or may not respect it. Judge me, go ahead. Your opinions are yours and mine are mine. It is my life and not yours. The decisions I make have nothing to do with you."

Gordon upgraded his custom-made Neil Lane sparkler with two extra bands in September 2013. Brown's first engagement ring had a blue stone surrounded by diamonds.

Brown referred to her fiancé as "my hubby" in a November 2013 tweet, leading many to believe they got secretly gotten married. A rep for the former reality stars later clarified that they had wed in secret.

After announcing her wedding news, Brown tweeted Thursday she has "BIGGGG things in store" for 2014. "I'm so excited ..! We bouta change the world babbbbby! #bringEmOut! #Getready!xO!"
