Jennifer Lawrence's dress at the 2014 Golden Globes created quite a stir on social media simply because it is so easy to recreate.

Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes started the "Lawrencing" trend by posting on Instagram the above picture of himself emulating the Golden Globe winner and her Dior gown. He captioned the shot, "#GoldenGlobes were a blast."

Once others saw how easy it was to put together a couture dress (Haynes used sheets and black electric tape) the global "Lawrencing" fad took off. Haynes realized the frenzy he created and tweeted, "Glad I could make y'all laugh. JLaw is my spirit animal."

He then wrote on Monday, Jan. 13, "Gettin word that Im on @e_FashionPolice tonight. If i don't win, ima have a word with Kelly,George,Giuliana, and Joan :) Jk. Thx 4 the laughs."

Lawrence has not commented on the trend surrounding her gown, but probably is more focused on her big win. The American Hustle star took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. Speaking about her backstage at the awards ceremony she said "It's incredible and so shocking."

"It really was unexpected and so fast, I didn't know it was gonna be the first award so I was really just kinda not prepared," she added. This is really, absolutely incredible. I don't really know what to say."
