Canadian gay porn actor Luka Rocco Magnotta who has been on the run after murdering and dismembering his gay lover, has finally been caught in Berlin today. Magnotta allegedly murdered his gay lover Jun Lin and sent his body parts to political parties in Canada.


Dubbed the "Canadian Psycho" and "the Butcher of Montreal", Magnotta had become an international fugitive after as massive manhunt for him was launched six days ago.


Magnotta was caught in a cafe in Berlin after looking at news reports about himself on the internet. The cafe owner recognized the 29-year-old and called police. He is to have arrested at 1.30 p.m. local time, saying, "You got me".


According to Berlin's police chief inspector Stefan Redlich, the suspect did not resist his arrest. "There was no resistance. Not against seven police officers." He is scheduled to appear before a judge tomorrow and will remain in custody until then. The Montreal Gazette reported Redlick "A lot of legal questions will have to be answered before he's sent anywhere. We only had the arrest warrant so won't be investigating the case."


It is believed that Magnotta flew out of Montreal a day after committing the horrific crime in killing Chinese national Jun Lin. Magnotta posted the video of the brutal killing online.


After dismembering Lin's body, Magnotta tossed Lin's torso inside a trashcan. He sent a foot to the federal Conservative party and a hand to the federal Liberty party.


Interpol has confirmed that is is indeed Magnotta that had been arrested. The courts are preparing to extradite him back to Canada.
