Pop queen Madonna may be facing a lawsuit from National Front leader Marine Le Pen after depicting her with a swastika on her forehead on a giant screen at her concert in Tel Aviv, Israel, last week.

The enraged politician has threatened Madonna with a lawsuit if the singer continues to portray the controversial image when she brings her concert to France next month.

"We understand how old singers who need to get people talking about them go to such extremes," said Ms Le Pen, according to Daily Mail. She also went on to say that she will sue if she continues the stunt in France. "If she does that in France, we'll be waiting [with legal action]."

The 53-year-old singer is due to perform in France in July at the Stade de France in Paris and in Nice on the Riviera.
The National Front has been linked to being racist and anti-Semitic. Marine Le Pen is the daughter of convicted racist and anti-Semite Jean-Marie Le Pen, who denied the holocaust ever happened. She took over the National Front party after her father's death, vowing to reform it.

Madonna is currently on her MDNA worldwide tour.
