The Avengers: Age of Ultron cast continues to grow with the addition of Dracula's Thomas Kretschmann as HYDRA's Baron Wolfgang von Strucker.

Although James Spader's Ultron is undeniably the films main villain, news leaked in December that Marvel Studios was looking to cast a second baddie for the Phase Two capstone film. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Kretschmann has scooped up the role.

It does not appear that von Strucker will play a major role in the 2015 release, however. A previous report by HitFix noted that head of the Nazi-backed HYDRA organization is set to appear mostly around the opening of Age of Ultron. While Captain America (Chris Evans) has a long and bloody history with HYDRA following the events of Captain America: The First Avenger, Screen Crush posits that the virtually ageless von Strucker will serve to bring Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) into the picture. It is unknown, however, whether or not the Eastern European children of Magneto will be fighting the supervillain or aiding him in some manner.
