'The Blacklist' Spoilers: Tom & Liz Hit Another Road Bump In 'The Alchemist' [PHOTOS], More Details On Tom's Identity Coming Soon [VIDEO]
The Blacklist's Liz Keen will continue to deal with her Tom issues during this Monday's "The Alchemist" as a DNA manipulator becomes the next name on Red's long list of baddies.
The next name off Raymond 'Red' Reddington's (James Spader) blacklist will be The Alchemist (Ryan O'Nan), a scientist who can transform the DNA of a victim in order to fake a criminals death. Keen (Megan Boone) and her FBI team jump into action to track down the killer before more innocent lives are lost and more criminals walk away scot-free.
While Liz deals with one mystery at work, her enigmatic husband will provide another problem to tackle at home. Although the FBI cleared Tom (Ryan Eggold) of any alleged crimes earlier this season, Red is adamant that Liz should be wary of the man she married. All evidence against Tom must be taken with a grain of salt, and the potential criminal is currently playing at being a family man.
After Tom announced during "The Good Samaritan" that he was applying for a job in Nebraska in search of a less chaotic life, viewers can expect the couple to face another bump in their relationship during "The Alchemist." However, Blacklist writers promise that more details about Liz's husband will soon come trickling out.
"There could be a lot of reasons for Tom to want to get away," teased Blacklist writer Brandon Sonnier in a "Beyond the Blacklist" featurette. "We've definitely established that there is more to this character and it feels like were coming up to a point when some of those things are going to start coming to a head."
