Playboy playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley was found dead in her friend's home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, according to TMZ.

The website also reported that Lynn was found floating in a bath tub and police are investigating to see whether or not the death was caused by an overdose.

Hensley, who was Playboy's Miss February 2006, was 34.

Some of Hensley's friends took to Twitter to share their sadness upon hearing the news of her passing.

"Very sad to hear about the passing of Playmate Cassandra Lynn. I just reread our interview to remember her thoughts," Playboy model Jessica Vaugn tweeted.

Another Playboy playmate Destiny Davis tweeted: "Senseless and tragic loss of such an amazing person."

The blonde model was recently named "Angel Of The Month" by Philadelphia's Metropolis Nights magazine where she spoke about life after Playboy.

"I have been a part of many great experiences: travel shows, magazine covers, and of course giving advice to young impressionable girls who think they need to act a certain way for a chance to be a model (classy not slutty)," she told the magazine.

When asked if she believes in Santa Claus, the model gave a heartfelt response and said, "We should all believe in something, it keeps us young at heart."

Hensley, who was also active on Twitter with over 11,000 tweets, posted her last one on Jan. 13.

"I just got into this new tanning bed and it's spraying some kind of liquid on my boobs!! #weird," she tweeted to her more than 7,000 followers.
