Many Oscar films are already online and can be viewed on various platforms, particularly the films selected for Best Documentary Feature.

The Oscar nominations were announced Thursday morning by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and while many nominated films are out in theaters currently, all of the nominees for Best Documentary can be easily accessed online.

Four of the five documentaries nominated for Best Documentary Feature can be found on Netflix Watch Instantly.

The Act of Killing, in which Indonesian death squad leaders reenact the atrocities they've committed through their point of view, can be viewed on Netflix here, Amazon here or iTunes here.

Cutie and the Boxer is about a pair of unique artists living in New York City, depicting their marriage and their unique artistry. The film can be seen on Netflix here or Amazon here.

Dirty Wars explores America's answer to the war on terror, exposing the nation's covert plans and secret government schemes. The film can be viewed here or Amazon here.

The Square is a Netflix documentary depicting the atrocities of the Egyptian Revolution through the eyes of the young people living in Cairo and can be seen here.

The final documentary, 20 Feet from Stardom, is not available on Netflix streaming but it can be rented or bought through Amazon or iTunes. The film chronicles the lives of five backup singers who have worked with almost everyone but are unknown to the public.
