If country darling Taylor Swift felt a little unappreciated after being snubbed for an Oscar nomination, she quickly learned that she has fans among some other big names in the music scene.

On the same day Swift's song Sweeter than Fiction from the movie One Chance missed out on an Oscar nomination, newest pop phenomenon Lorde opened up about how much Swift impresses her to Taste of Country.

"She is so good as a performer," the Royals singer said. "I don't think people realized how difficult a stadium is to perform in. You have to change how you move and how you talk to accommodate that scale, and she is so good at that. It feels natural when she does it."

"I'm so in awe of her ability, it's insane," she added.

Unfortunately for Swift, her musical abilities have yet to translate to award recognition from the film community. Not only did Sweeter than Fiction miss out on an Oscar nomination, but Swift lost at the Jan. 12 Golden Globes ceremony as well.

That best song award went to U2 for the tune Ordinary Love from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

Swift didn't appear too heart-broken over the lack of nomination however, as she was spotted out a day after the snub, buying vegetables at a Whole Foods in Beverly Hills.

Wearing a striped, boat-neck top and short denim shorts, the 24-year-old blonde singer happily chatted with her bodyguard as she listened to music on her iPhone and purchased the veggies, as well as a bouquet of flowers.
