Jon Stewart has ridiculed CNN's over the top coverage on the Queen's Jubilee celebrations this weekend. The hilarious clip of Stewart making fun of Piers Morgan on the Daily Show has become an internet hit.

First, Stewart mocked Queen Elizabeth's 60 years on the throne by saying, "60 years?! Give that woman some fiber!"

"It was a magnificent spectacle that you can see through the inside of a car wash in England in June," he said, speaking of the Diamond Jubilee flotilla on Sunday. He showed a clip of the royal family with a commentator in the background saying that the royal family danced. Steward remarked: "They weren't dancing, they were shivering. People can't tell the difference between fun and hypothermia?"

He went on to say that CNN did a full two-hour coverage of the event, with Piers Morgan describing it as an "orgy of excitement". He mocked Piers saying " i have never seen a spectacle quite like this in my life.. absolutely fantastic.. amazing.. crazy stuff.. is this really happening?... I am speechless". He also went over the top to describe the the Royal Barge doing a 360 turn, saying he's never seen a boat that size do this. Stewart mocked it saying, "is this somehow the British equivalent of a monster truck show?"
"Come down to the Thames and see a rotating boat on Sunday," he said in a British accent.

Piers talked about an RAF fly-past which was due but had to be cancelled due to bad weather. With Piers expressing disappointment about the "heartbreaking news that sadly fly-past has been cancelled due to these awful conditions.. which is very very sad". Stewart referred to the tragic plane crash in Nigeria which happened at the same time. Stewart said yes, it was one of the two very sad airplane stories of the day.

But Piers Morgan took the jabs lightly and even retweeted the clip of Stewart, saying: "OK, this is very naughty but very funny."
