"It's not a big deal, I just got caught in a cross strip," Hathaway said. "And I was struggling to get in and I was out over my head, and I had been trying to get in for, like, 10 minutes, and so I just needed to alert my husband that I was having a little trouble getting in, but there were all these paparazzi there so I didn't want to show him that I was really in distress, but I didn't know how to communicate it."

"It turned into a whole charades thing where I had to like show him I wasn't okay. He very heroically ripped his shirt off and ran in to save me," Hathaway continued.
