Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott has entered rehab amid rumors of his infidelity.

"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," he told People in a statement.

"I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

Sources also told the magazine that the 47-year-old is allowed to leave to visit his four children - Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 15 months - at the home he shares with Spelling.

"Their priority right now is their children," an insider said.

Rumors that McDermott cheated on Spelling started last Christmas Eve after he had an alleged sexual relationship with 28-year-old model Emily Goodhand. The incident was said to have occurred while the 47-year-old was in Toronto to promote his hosting gig on Food Network's Chopped: Canada.

A source previously told People that Spelling was reportedly distraught over all the rumors.

"She's much more heartbroken than anyone realized. She's flipping out and is completely devastated. Remember early last year when the tabloids wrote something [about marriage troubles] and she blasted them on her website? Now she's not even doing that."

The source also said that Spelling doesn't know if she will remain in the marriage and is just "staying strong for her kids."

"She's all about her family," the source added. "She worships those kids."
