This year's Super Bowl Halftime Show is scheduled to have new artists on the stage, including Bruno Mars.

According to Bleacher Report, the Locked Out of Heaven singer is set to take the stage as the main act this year.

It also appears that the Red Hot Chili Peppers might be making their way to the halftime stage as well. There is currently no word on what songs they'll sing, but some of the band's most infamous hits include Californication, Give it All Away and Under the Bridge.

Mars's most infamous hits include When I Was Your Man, Just the Way You Are and Locked Out of Heaven.

In the past, there were performances that left a trademark in Super Bowl Halftime history.

Last year, Beyonce performed with Destiny's Child where they sang Crazy In Love, Bootylicious and Single Ladies (Pit a Ring on It).

In 2012, Madonna performed with L.M.F.A.O., Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green, M.I.A. And Andy Lewis.

In 2011, the Black Eyed Peas performed with Usher and Slash where Fergie sang Sweet Child O' Mine with Slash.

One of the most controversial halftime performances was in 2004 when Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson did a duet of Timberlake's hit Rock Your Body. When the song ended, Timberlake pulled on Jackson's shirt where part of her chest fell was exposed.
