Beyonce opened the 56th Grammy Awards on Sunday with her new song Drunk In Love, which appears on her surprise fifth studio album released in December 2013.

She was then joined on stage by her hubby Jay Z. The rapper wore a black suit and a bow tie as he performed his verse on the track.

This year's Grammys were hosted by rapper LL Cool J, who also held the same title at the 2013 award show.

"Just being a part of it is great," he told Us Weekly. "I mean, winning is always going to be the best. I mean, nothing tops winning! But it's always fun being involved and it's fun hosting. This is a good time."
