On the next episode of HBO's True Detective, Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) and Hart (Woody Harrelson) will put their lives in danger in order to catch a prime suspect.

HBO recently released a synopsis for True Detective episode 4, which is titled Who Goes There. In the episode, Cohle and Hart will follow a series of "dangerous" leads in the murder case. Their ultimate goal is to locate Reggie Ledoux, who has become the latest suspect in the murder of Dora Lange.

Viewers already know that Reggie Ledoux will be a key player in the murder investigation, based on the "present day" scenes thus far in True Detective. 

The trailer for episode 4 suggests that it will be action-packed, with multiple gunfights and life-threatening situations. Cohle tells Hart in the promo that they are going to proceed with the next part of the case "off book," implying that they are about to go rogue.

In another scene, Hart questions Cohle about whether or not he really wants to go through with their plan, to which Cohle responds that he isn't sure. The entire plan appears to be very risky.

True Detective episode 4 will not air on Sunday, Feb. 2; instead, the episode will air the following week on Sunday, Feb. 9 in order to prevent going against the Super Bowl.

True Detective airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO and repeats throughout the week.
