While there have been many rumors that Big Brother 16 will be an All-Star season, fans will not know until March.

Big Brother casting director Robyn Kass tweeted about Big Brother 16 on Jan. 22, as discovered by Wetpaint.

"#BB16 casting info coming beginning of March. #staytuned," Kass tweeted. One of Kass' followers tweeted her a question regarding casting going to Staten Island, to which she reaffirmed, "info in MARCH."

Assuming Big Brother 16 is going to feature all returning players, there would be no need for the producers to go out looking for willing new participants. The March announcement will likely be for casting call information assuming they are looking for new cast members.

Kass previously discussed the rumors about Big Brother 16 being an all-star season with Examiner, dismissing the rumors in Sept. 2013.

"I love how these rumors get started, because I will tell you the last thing on anyone's mind right now is next season," Kass said at the time. "It's all about getting through this season and not one word has been mentioned at all from production or network regarding next season."

Kass went on to explain that none of the Big Brother production members were even thinking about the 2014 season.

"Wherever those crazy rumors come from, there [is] no truth to that!" Kass said. "And I'm not saying that it will or won't happen, it just hasn't been talked about. So those rumors would all be false!"

Big Brother 16 premieres in summer 2014 on CBS.
