The title of Orphan Black's season 2 premiere episode has been revealed, ahead of its April premiere on BBC America.

The season 2 premiere episode will be titled Nature Under Constraint And Vexed, a phrase from Sir Francis Bacon's Plan of the Work in 1620.. The phrase is in Part III of Plan of the Work.

Orphan Black showrunners John Fawcett and Graeme Manson revealed to The Huffington Post Canada that all of season 2's episodes will be taken from Bacon's various works. This is similar to season 1's episode titles, which were all drawn from Charles Darwin's On The Origin Of Species.

The publication speculates that the season 2 premiere episode title will relate to a more philosophical season rather than the exploration of creation, evolution and survival present in season 1.

Orphan Black season 2 will introduce several new characters. One is Cal Morrison (Michiel Husiman), a woodsman who has a sixth sense regarding people and situations.

Another character is Henrick "Hank" Johanssen (Peter Outerbridge), the leader of a radical, faith-based organization who is described as very anti-science. He will no doubt cause trouble for Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) and the various clones.
