While many artists left the 2014 Grammys happy with trophies in hand, many others went home empty-handed, snubbed of any award.

Two of the most significant snubs of Sunday night's Grammy Awards were Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift. Lamar was nominated in seven categories, including Album of the Year and Best New Artist, but left the ceremony without a trophy, losing every category.

Swift, who collected many awards for her Fearless album at the 2011 ceremony, was completely snubbed for her latest album Red. The country-pop superstar was snubbed in such categories as Album of the Year and Best Country Album.

Many top rappers were snubbed in various categories, including Drake and Kanye West, who lost to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in every single rap category.

A few pop singers went home empty-handed as well. Katy Perry, P!nk and Sara Bareilles were looked over in their categories for other songs and albums, while Robin Thicke was left without a trophy for Blurred Lines, both the song and the album.

Some overlooked yet interesting snubs in the smaller categories were Blake Shelton for either Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album and Tamar Braxton in Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Urban Contemporary Album.
