The soccer team at Barcelona is looking to extend their near-perfect record as they face off against Valenica at 3:00 p.m. GMT / 10:00 a.m. ET.

Top-ranked Barcelona (17-3-1) will be playing 10th-ranked Valenica (7-4-10) on the Barcelona home turf at Camp Nou in Barcelona, Spain. Real Madrid is first in the La Liga standings with 54 points with Valencia ranking at no. 10 with 25 points.

While Barcelona is the obvious favorite going into Saturday's game, the team's manager is still wary of Valenica.

"The Valencia team has unquestionably changed for the better," Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino told the club's website. "They had a good cup tie with Atlético Madrid and played well against Malaga. They are going from less to more."

One interesting statistic could spell trouble for Valencia: Barcelona has won 25 consecutive home games at Camp Nou.

Barcelona center midfielder Andres Iniesta is hoping to continue the team's momentum going into Saturday's game.

"We have in mind that playing Valencia is always tricky. Although Valencia are different than in previous years, the team have to be serious and go for the win", Iniesta said.

Barcelona has won nine of their past 12 games, drawing twice and losing only once while Valencia has only won two of their last eight games.
