Original Destiny's Child member Letoya Luckett has cleared up any speculation that she and Beyonce dissed Kelly Rowland in a vintage video of the group.

During an interview with MTV earlier this week, Luckett revealed that she actually laughed off the idea that the two former group mates threw Rowland shade after she introduced herself as second lead vocalist of the group.

"OK, yeah, so, I suddenly start getting texts on a particular day, I guess as soon as [the video] surfaced and they were like, 'Your face.' And I was like, 'What face? What are you talking about?' Luckett said. "And so I went and looked and I died laughing because I don't even know where that came from or why we were looking like that."

She also defended Beyonce's dramatic cough in the video as well.

"What if the girl had to cough?"

Luckett went on to set the record straight and said that Rowland was actually right when she stated her role in the group. It was something they all agreed upon.

"It was a real team, like, we were team players. B was first lead; Kelly was second lead; I was soprano; Tavia was the alto and she was the spokesperson. Everybody knew their lane so no one ever stepped in anyone else's lane."

Luckett said that while it was hilarious, she does feel that her face was "mean", it was just misunderstood and taken out of context.

"What [Rowland] said was so true, and we all knew that."
