Fans of Seinfeld now know what some of the show's stars, Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander were up to when they were spotted taping a scene at Tom's Restaurant in Upper Manhattan earlier this week.

It was all for a fun, short clip to air during halftime of Super Bowl 48 Sunday to promote Seinfeld's new web series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, in which Acura is the sponsor. The clip aired just before Amazing star Bruno Mars took the stage.

Speculation that the Seinfeld crew was getting back together to make magic on the small screen sparked after Seinfeld and Alexander were spotted filming the scene. The eatery was often where the characters met on the show.

Just days before it aired, Seinfeld remained coy when asked about a possible reunion. During a radio show Thursday he said the scene they were taping was for a "secret project" and added that it would not be longer than 60 seconds. Unfortunately, he also stressed that it was a one time thing, rather than a recurring series but that it would be unveiled "very, very soon."

The clip starts with the two driving in the car before they decide to stop by Tom's Restaurant. Alexander is complaining about Seinfeld not having any food at this house after inviting him over to watch the Super Bowl. He pointed out that they weren't invited to any other parties.

The two went back and forth before Seinfeld confessed that he did indeed get invited to a party, but Alexander could not come because the hosts didn't like him.

"Two years ago you over cheered and you ruined the whole party."

Take a look at Alexander's reaction and who else makes a surprise appearance in the hilarious video here.
