Kim Kardashian ditched the blonde hair to go back to her days as a brunette.
The reality star uploaded a photo of her recent hair color change on Instagram on Feb. 1 with the caption "I'm back." A day later she posted another photo of herself in bed and wrote "So sleepy."
Kardashian first showed off blonde hair in 2012. She later went back to the light shade almost three months after giving birth to North West on June 15, 2013.
Her hairstylist George Papanikolas spoke about Kardashian's drastic change with Us Weekly last September and revealed that the two went through a series of photos to get inspiration.
"[It's] the best way to communicate hair color," he said. "That way we were able to come to an agreement of a blonde that is realistic considering her natural hair color, and would be the most flattering to her skin tone."
He also offered advice to girls who may want to mimic Kardashian's hair color change.
"It's also very important that your hair be in very good condition before attempting to do a drastic color change from dark to light, as it's very stressful to your hair," he said. "Using a repair treatment like Joico's Revitalux is crucial, as well as a violet tinted shampoo like Joico's Color Endure Violet Shampoo to maintain the delicate blonde tones of the hair."
