The upcoming midseason premiere of The Walking Dead season 4 will be a significant one for Carl (Chandler Riggs).

In the Walking Dead season 4 midseason premiere, titled After, Carl will lose something very important to him, according to a recent report by TV Guide. The episode could be considered a "coming-of-age" episode for Carl, says TVLine.

Carl does not have too many items that could be considered "important" to him, except for his hat and the photo of his family. Losing either could prove to be a big moment for the character.

The midseason premiere will also be a big episode for Michonne (Danai Gurira) as the show will be delving into her past. TV Guide reports that the mystery regarding Michonne possibly having had a baby before the zombie apocalypse.

The potential storyline was first introduced in the second episode of season 4 when Michonne held baby Judith and reacted emotionally. The mystery will reportedly be "blown wide open" in the midseason premiere.

In other Walking Dead spoiler news, the titles of every episode in the upcoming second half of season 4 have been released. After will air on Feb. 9, followed by Inmates on Feb. 16, Claimed on Feb. 23, Still on March 2, Alone on March 9, The Grove on March 16, Us on March 23 and the season 4 finale A on March 30.
