'The Blacklist' Spoilers: Will Jolene Tear Apart Tom & Liz Keen's Marriage [POLL]? What Is Lucy Brooks Really Planning? [VIDEO]
All work and no play will leave Liz Keen's love life in shambles.
The Blacklist's FBI profiler has a whole host of problems to deal with in her marriage, and the recent appearance of Jolene/Lucy Brooks (Rachel Brosnanhan) definitely will not help matters.
A gulf was rent between Liz (Megan Boone) and her husband Tom (Ryan Eggold) when it became apparent he might not be who he claimed to be, and despite the fact that the FBI cleared Tom, Red's (James Spader) constant warnings about him continue to ring in Liz's ears. Between Liz's long work hours - days can go by before she returns home - and the complicated nature of her work, the two seem to be drifting apart.
Luckily for Tom, Jolene (also known as the criminal Lucy Brooks) is there to pick up the pieces whenever Liz cancels the couple's evening plans. In an upcoming episode, Liz fails to make it to a teacher's convention with Tom but Jolene will be in attendance, according to TV Guide.
Will Jolene come between the married couple (check out our poll below)? Will her criminal nature lead to trouble for Tom or Liz?
"[Jolene is] care free, easy going, unburdened by the kind of things that burden Liz and that is going to be tempting for Tom," explained executive producer John Eisendrath in a Beyond the Blacklist featurette. "All the while, we hope that the audience will be wondering, 'Wait a second, who is she for real? Is she someone who should be trusted or not trusted?' She clearly has something that she is keeping secret."
Meanwhile, fans are still wondering if Tom really does have a secret past. Who can truly be trusted on The Blacklist?
