'Supernatural' Season 9 Spoilers: Misha Collins Gets Pie Thrown In His Face, Watch VIDEO; Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles Prank New Director [PHOTOS]
Supernatural's Misha Collins is preparing to make is directing debut for the series, but a two actors are planning on making his job just a little bit more difficult.
Collins is usually busy portraying the angel Castiel for the hit CW show, but the actor will be stepping behind the camera for episode 17. However, Jared Padalecki (Sam) and Jensen Ackles (Dean) have been mulling over a list of pranks to play on their new director since his new job was announced last summer.
"I intend to have a lot of fun," Padalecki told Give Me My Remote during the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con. "Jensen and I have already started talking about [it]. We have to do something epic...our thinking caps are on."
The duo made their first move on Wednesday during the second day of filming.
"J&J did a pie to @mishacollins face!!" tweeted first assistant director Kevin Parks as the cast and crew began to upload photos of the pie-covered Collins (see video below).
Don't expect the incident to dampen the actor/director's spirits, however. After crewmember Tara Larsen posted a photo of an "over eager [sic]" Collins during preproduction, the 39-year-old quickly spun the image to his advantage.
"By 'over-eager' I think she means 'visionary,'" Collins told his followers.
