Dakota Johnson is set to star in one of the most anticipated films of this generation and the actress revealed what gives her the confidence to play the lead in the erotic film.

"I don't have any problem doing anything," she told Elle magazine in the March issue. "The secret is I have no shame."

Johnson will appear as Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E. L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey alongside Jamie Dornan, who will play Christian Grey. The actress also explained what intrigued her most about the storyline.

"Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes," she said. "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."

Elle's editor-in-chief also acknowledged Johnson's fearless nature, which made her an ideal cover girl for the March issue coming to newsstands on Feb. 18.

Fifty Shades of Grey is expected to come to theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.
