Even though Teresa Giudice's actual trial will not be shown on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the drama stemming from it will make a splash, former Bravo executive Andy Cohen recently stated.

Teresa Giudice Abandons Hubby As Court Date Nears?

"With Teresa, we're shooting [The Real Housewives of New Jersey] now and that's very much the reality of what she's going through. It will very much be a part of the show next season. We cover it in the way that we can," he told TV Guide on Feb. 4.

Regarding Giudice's fraud trial, she and her husband, Joe, continue to face 41 counts of fraud (including bank and bankruptcy) and are looking at up to 50 years in prison if convicted. Teresa's legal team has upped their game and called out the government requesting specific information concerning her involvement in the alleged scam.

According to court documents, Teresa's lawyer wrote, "The indictment repeatedly uses vague and amorphous words and phrases, but fails to provide additional detail to allow Teresa to defend herself against these allegations."

They went on to write that after further review, they "still cannot determine what the basis is for many of the allegations set forth in the indictment."

Teresa spoke out on the charges during an interview with ABC News earlier this week.

When asked what she knew about the allegations against her, Teresa said, "I would love to answer all your questions and one day I will. But, you know, out of respect of the process, I'm going to let, you know, the legal matters play out in court."

But she did confess that the trial is having an impact on her.

"I would be lying to say I didn't, you know, that's not happening...I can't just be upset and crawl up in a ball and just go in a room and -- and lock the door. I can't. I'm a mom. I have four daughters," she said.

Be sure to tune in to new episodes of The Real Housewives of New Jersey when the sixth season premieres later this year. A specific date has not been released yet.
