NCIS: Los Angeles is gearing up for the return of Kensi Blye, but getting her safely back home will not be an easy task.

'NCIS: LA' Viewers Should 'Be Afraid, Very Afraid' Of Dangerous Densi Episode

Currently tracking the White Ghost and attempting to smoke out a potentially mole, Kensi (Daniel Ruah) is half a world away from her partner and the reassuring backup of Hetty's (Linda Hunt) crew. Although the NCIS agent has been covertly contacting Nell (Renee Felice Smith) and Eric (Barrett Foa) for intel and technical support, Kensi is essentially on her own in Afghanistan.

That may quickly change, however, since executive producer John Peter Kousakis recently referred to her return episode as a "rescue mission," which means Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam (LL Cool J), and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) may be spending a large portion of episode 19 (filmed as 518) overseas.

Callen & Sam Get A Blast From The Past In New 'Tuhon' PHOTOS; Will Nate Return To 'NCIS: LA' With A New Job?

"Callen, Sam and Deeks head into one of their most dangerous missions. All coming in E518!" Kousakis tweeted his followers in regards to the impending rescue.

Meanwhile, Densi fans have more to worry about than just the character's physical wellbeing. Billed as a major turning point for Deeks and Kesni's relationship, series creator Shane Brennan told Xfinity that episode 19 will include a "pretty shocking revelation that deeply affects both of them and has them both questioning everything about their relationship, particularly Kensi."

Could it have to do with Deek's behavior in the episode? After warning that "Deeks will use uncharacteristic means to ascertain vital information" during an upcoming case, Kousakis told viewers they would see "Deeks like never before" during episode 19.

Are these two spoilers connected? How far will Deeks go to save his partner?
