The news of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) engagement will likely cause a few broken hearts on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke and Ridge Get Engaged!

Bill (Don Diamont) has been trying to find ways to win Brooke back for months, and he isn't about to let Ridge's return to town scare him away.

In a preview clip for the Thursday, Feb. 13 episode, he will talk to his son, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and reveal that he isn't giving up so easily.

Katie Refuses "To Be a Hypocrite"

"He's got no right to say anything about how she spent her time, or who she spent it with," he said in the clip.

Ridge, who initially came back to town to win Brooke back, was disgusted when he learned that Brooke and Bill had gotten together since he was last in town, and had backed away from Brooke as a result. His backing away made Brooke more determined than ever to be with him, something that Bill had a hard time believing was possible.

Now, he may have some grand Valentine's Day plans to try and woo Brooke back once and for all.

"There's no way that Forrester can compete with hat your daddy's got planned," he said to Wyatt.

However, Bill may be in for the shock of his life when Brooke reveals that she and Ridge are engaged to be married again.

Meanwhile, Bill's ex-wife (and Brooke's sister) Katie (Heather Tom) is grappling with her feelings for Ridge, despite sending him back to Brooke. She is determined to not repeat history by taking her sister's husband, but is having a hard time convincing Liam (Scott Clifton) that it would be wrong.

"Nothing feels worse than knowing you had a chance and letting it slip away," Liam said.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
