Chrissy Teigen, Lily Aldridge and Nina Agdal had a priceless reaction after they discovered they landed the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Teigen and Aldridge were in studio at SI Now as the third cover girl joined the interview on Skype. The three models were under the impression they were only there to dish on their October photo shoot in the Cook Islands.

Mid-interview, MJ Day, the editor of swimsuit issue, surprised the ladies and showed them their stunning cover.

All three models were visibly shocked and on the verge of tears.

"Stop it right now. Are you being serious though?" Teigen said. "I don't believe you."

Teigen and Aldridge hugged Day and others in the studio.

On the stunning cover of the 50th Anniversary Issue, the three models stand in the ocean topless as they sport bikini bottoms and embrace each other.

So, what helped this trio land the iconic cover? Teigen, who has appeared within the magazine five times before, said it was their chemistry that really made the difference.

"We really, honestly liked each other," she told SI. "Of course you are going to hear that from anybody who does a group shot, but this time it's true. The connection was natural and the mood was fun."

Aldridge also expressed her excitement for landing the cover via Instagram.

"Feeling so blessed to be on this iconic @si_swimsuit Sports Illustrated cover with these beauties," she wrote along with the cover shot.
