A new year can bring great romance for celebrities, and several new ones are reportedly set to be spending this Valentine's Day together.

More Surprising Celebrity Couples

While some are couples who have been around for a while, they are still ones who continue to surprise fans by somehow making their relationships work, despite have the odds stacked against them. Others are brand new additions to the dating scene, and are just starting out together.

Enstars compiled a list of seven celebrity couples to keep an eye on this year because they may just surprise us all:

1. Bradley Cooper & Suki Waterhouse: The American Hustle actor who has been nominated for his second Oscar in a row, stepped out with the 22-year-old model last year. The couple is still going strong, and even attended the White House State Dinner together. The couple, who previously kept their relationship fairly private, are finally opening up about the romance, with Waterhouse saying, "we were introduced and hit it off almost immediately."

2. Nina Dobrev & Liam Hemsworth: Nothing has been confirmed, but The Vampire Diaries beauty and Hunger Games star were reportedly seen getting cozy in Atlanta where they are both currently filming their respective projects. Dobrev split from her Diaries co-star earlier in 2013 and briefly dated Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough before the two called off their romance. Hemsworth called off his engagement to Miley Cyrus in September, and also ended a brief fling with Eiza Gonzalez.

3. Cheryl Burke & Josh Hopkins: One couple whose romance has only just come to light is that of Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke and Cougar Town Star Josh Hopkins. The 29-year-old dancer and 43-year-old actor reportedly began dating recently. There is no word on whether Hopkins will appear on season 18 of Burke's show to dance with her.

4. Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes: The couple has actually been dating since 2011, but an endless amount of rumors have them both broken up and still together. If they would actually confirm their status in 2014 and admt they're still together, they too could be one of the surprising couples of 2014.

5. Ashley Olsen & Bennett Miller: Following in her sister Mary-Kate's footsteps and dating an older man, Ashley has gone public with Moneyball and Capote director Bennett Miller, who is 20 years her senior. Us Weekly spotted the two leaving Philip Seymour Hoffman's funeral together on Feb. 7.

6. Jake Gyllenhaal & Alyssa Miller: Despite breaking up one month ago, the actor and model reportedly got back together recently, as Miller posted a photo of a Valentine's Day card from the actor on her Instagram page.

7. Jennifer Lopez & Casper Smart: The American Idol judge and her Boy Toy are still reportedly going strong after a couple of years together. It's unknwon if Lope may plan to walk down the aisle for the fourth time with her beau this year.
