Some new Grey's Anatomy footage was released and it gives fans a closer look at the drama they can expect after the midseason premiere.

New Photos Of Grey-Sloan Doctors Before Premiere

The teaser shows Meredith and Cristina confronting some more issues regarding their friendship. This means more scenes between Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh, who announced that she's leaving the series in 2013.

Meredith's problems also continue with her husband Derek. In the clip, it appears they have a heated conversation before Meredith storms off.

All The Spoilers Before February Premiere

Before the show's winter finale, Derek turned down an offer to partake in a prestigious study for Meredith.

But, after he received a phone call from the President of the United States to join him on a brain mapping project, it may be impossible for him to deny the proposition. That one phone call may have the potential to tear the couple apart for good.

The teaser also shows a huge fight that breaks out at the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. Although it's not clear, the fight seems to be between Dr. Alex Karev and Dr. Shane Ross.

Camilla Luddington, who plays Dr. Jo Wilson on the show, recently revealed that there will be a lot of animosity between the two when the show returns.

"In the first episode back, which picks up right after the wedding, you see Jo being kind of a rock for Alex because he's furious about what Shane has done to his dad," Luddington told TV Line.

"He's distraught by it. And she's there for him. And she's also ready to go [toe-to-toe] with Shane. She hates Shane. She's not for him staying at the hospital. So you see her get closer to Alex through that."
