Despite rumors swirling that Prince George is about to be an older brother, Kate Middleton is not expecting her second child.

Star magazine reported that the 32-year-old Duchess is about three months along with a baby girl and that she and Prince William are reportedly keeping the pregnancy a secret and have only shared with a few close people.

"Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled," a source close to the royal couple reportedly shared inside the magazine's Mar. 3 issue. "[Kate] was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year. Kate and William are ecstatic!"

The magazine also went onto say that Middleton had the genetic testing to find out the sex of the baby in advance and found out the results on Valentines Day. Prince William was said to be very excited.

"He couldn't stop hugging her," a royal family insider told Star. "He was actually a little surprised, because he was convinced it would be a boy. In his head, he was expecting a brother for George, because he himself grew up with a little brother. But now that they know a girl is on the way, it has really affected him emotionally. He knows his mother, Princess Diana, would have been overjoyed."

But, according to another report, Star's story is completely made up.

The Royals have yet to confirm the baby news.
