Many fans of the Batman character were not happy with Ben Affleck being cast to play the superhero in Man of Steel 2, and the decision is now being criticized by a fellow actor.

''Minor Tweaks" Made To Superman Suit as Production is Delayed Till March?

Seth Green (Dads, Austin Powers) recently appeared on Larry King Now and dissed the casting of Affleck as Batman.

"If this movie is meant to be the idealistic alien, humans-before-all-else Superman, and this is supposed to be the grizzled, weathered Batman who's been living in Gotham, fighting crime himself for 10 years, you need a guy who's older," Green explained. "You need a guy's who's got more weight, you need a guy that a Henry Cavill Superman is gonna be actually scared of."

Man of Steel 2 features a version of Batman that is more aged and experienced than the one played by Christian Bale in The Dark Knight trilogy.

Host Larry King argued that Affleck is a "very good actor, and you're supposed to act," but Green replied, "Yes, but there is only so much that you can act a role before people are or are not going to believe you in that role."

Green then compared the casting to himself, saying that he would not look right playing an MMA fighter, especially when compared to an actual MMA fighter.

In addition to Affleck's Batman and Cavill's Superman, Man of Steel 2 stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
