Twilight star Robert Pattinson was caught smoking a cigarette on the set of his new film with a clean and sophisticated look.

The actor is currently filming the movie Life based on the Life magazine photographer Dennis stocks who develops a relationship with legendary icon James Dean. Pattinson will be playing Stock.

Pattinson was captured on Wednesday smoking a cigarette while wearing a fancy suit. Unlike his usual look of scruffy hair and a beard, the actor's hair was combed as his face was shaved. He was seen in a white button-up shirt and a black tie with white dots. He also wore a coat with a scarf as he was seen holding the cigarette by his lips.

The actor was seen playing his character and taking photos of what appears to be a snow-covered bench. In other photos, the actor looked cold as he wore a black coat with black gloves.

He was also seen walking on set in jeans and a black hoodie as he held a Starbucks beverage in his hand.

There was a recent rumor that Pattinson could be quitting acting to become a director. According to a source who is reportedly close to the actor, the Twilight star's reason to quit is because of all the attention.

"The cost of fame is the thing he and Kristen [Stewart] used to complain about all day and that hasn't changed at all for him," the source said.

Life is set to come to theaters in 2015.
