Downton Abbey is reportedly in the process of filming, and so far a decent amount of information has been revealed, including new characters and Mary possibly getting romantic with someone.

Richard E. Grant is set to play a guest of the Crawley family whose name will be Simon Bricker. According to Grant's Twitter, the new season is currently in the progress of filming.

"First day on DOWNTON ABBEY duty. Was downstairs in GOSFORD PARK. Been promoted upstairs. Progress? Will wait and see," Grant wrote on Saturday.

The actor also posted a picture of black gloves with a tag that said "'Downton' Richard E. Grant."

Some other speculated news on the fifth season include whether Mary will find herself a man or not. A picture was recently released that shows Mary sharing an embrace with none other than Lord Gillingham and multiple sites seem to believe that they could be the new couple of the series.

There is also a possibility that Grant's character could cause some drama that may or may not connect to Mary and Gillingham's rumored relationship.

"I don't want to spoil anything, but my character is set to cause some ructions," Grant said. "He definitely will shake things up. It's going to be fun."

On Friday, Zap2It posted a link of what Season 4 will bring in the finale on Sunday. Harold (Paul Giamatti) will display some of his odd behavior when he reveals that he doesn't feel a need to leave America.

The fifth season of Downton Abbey is set to premiere in January 2015 on PBS.
