Just days before Amish Mafia is set to debut its third season on the Discovery Channel, one of the show's stars has found himself behind bars.

Levi and Merlin's Battle To Intensify In Season 3?

John Schmucker, 29, was ordered to serve a three-month prison sentence and to pay a $1,000 fine for his 10th violation for driving with a suspended license, Lancaster Online reported.

District Judge Rodney Hartman convicted the star in a short hearing Feb.21, for his latest violation, which occurred on Dec. 8 in Earl Township.

Season 3 To Be The Show's Last?

Schmucker was ordered to begin his sentence March 31, though his lawyer has said he plans to file an appeal.

Schmucker, who serves as one of Lebanon Levi's henchmen on the hit show, is the real-life brother of Esther Schmucker, 27, who is also a part of the cast.

Esther had her own legal issues late last year after filing charges against her ex-boyfriend, Imir R. Williams, for assault. Williams attacked her on Oct. 31, breaking her nose, cheekbone and several teeth.

His charges were later downgraded to misdimeanors, and an additional misdemeanor stalking charge was added. He was ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend and was given probation.

Television film cameras were reportedly outside both Judge Harmtan's office as well as the courthouse during John's hearing Friday, meaning the case could wind up being a part of the show's third season.

If he does not successfully appeal the decision, it is unclear how his prison sentence will affect future episodes of the show.

Amish Mafia returns Tuesday, Dec. 25 at 9 p.m. on Discovery.
