The highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey movie finished filming on Friday.

The book's author, E.L. James, let fans know via social media with the simple tweet, "And that's a wrap..."

She also posted a photo on Instagram, in which she smiled while holding a beverage and stood next to the movie's director, Sam Taylor-Johnson. James captioned the shot, "One of us is drinking... It's a wrap."

She followed that with a Twitter pic of an empty room with a little message to the film's producers. "It's so empty without you @michaelDe_luca @danabrunetti," she wrote as the caption.

On Thursday, Brunetti also posted a photo from the set, standing next to Jamie Dornan who plays Christian Grey in the film.

The caption poked fun at Dornan's House of Cards-inspired shirt, which reads, "Freddy's BBQ Joint," a restaurant that appears in the show. Brunetti, also the executive producer of the Netflix hit, noted the reference with the hashtag "#HoC."

Fans just have to wait a little while more to see Dornan flirt with Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele when the film hits theaters on Feb. 13, 2015. 

Brunetti previously hinted just how raunchy the film will be during an interview with Collider last November.

"So everybody could go and enjoy the R version, and then if they really wanted to see it again and get a little bit more gritty with it then have that NC-17 version out there as well," he explained.

"What we're kind of hearing from the fans is they want it dirty, they want it as close as possible [to the book]. We want to keep it elevated, but also give the fans what they want."
