It looks like Robert Pattinson might have a new love interest in his life who is not Kristen Stewart.

On Friday, Hollywood Life reported that Pattinson was in Toronto filming his new movie Life when he apparently received a visit from Caitlin Cronenberg; these two were rumored to have a romantic relationship in July 2013 and were reportedly photographed sharing a kiss.

But it turns out that the Twilight star might just be friends with Cronenberg. A source revealed that there is nothing to be skeptical of.

"They are great pals," the source reportedly said. "There isn't anything happening between them. She just happens to be a girl that he is friends with, nothing more."

Cronenberg is actually married to lawyer Geoff Groive. The couple tied the knot in September 2013 in Toronto.

Cronenberg addressed the rumors of her relationship with Pattinson a month before she got married.

"When I first started reading rumors about myself on the Internet, it did bother me," Cronenberg said. "You realize that something is on the Internet and anyone can read it. Now, I really don't care. People can say whatever they want about me. I know what's true. The guy that I'm marrying in five weeks knows what's true and that's all that really matters."

Cronenberg's father is director David Cronenberg who directed Maps to the Stars, which starred Pattinson.

There was a recent rumor that Pattinson's ex Kristen Stewart might be "playing hard to get" in an attempt to win the Twilight star back.
