While infamous drug kingpin Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman is now in custody, the whereabouts of his 24-year-old wife, Emma Coronel, are now in question.

Chapo Guzman's Wife With Him During Arrest?

He was captured with a mystery woman, who many speculated was his wife, but she has been MIA since his arrest over the weekend.

Coronel is the daughter of one of Guzman's right hand men and reportedly his third or fourth wife. The two tied the knot just days after she turned 18-years-old. He is said to have started wooing her after she won the Miss Coffee and Guava beauty contest.

Chapo Guzman Arrested With Mystery Woman 

Coronel gave birth to Guzman's twin daughters in August 2011. She was last seen going back into Mexico shortly after she delivered the twins at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, just north of Los Angeles. Coronel is an official citizen of the United States, so she can go back and forth between the two countries as much as she'd like.

Guzman, who was on the top of the Public Enemy list last year, was arrested during a raid on a resort condo in Mazatlán. Men who used to work as Guzman's security lead Mexican officials in on his seven homes in Culiacan off the Pacific coast. He had spent the last 12 years ducking and hiding from police.

Once authorities in Mexico started looking into Guzman, or "Shorty", who is said to be worth more than $1 billion, they discovered he owned 46 vehicles, 16 houses, and 4 ranches.

Mexican and U.S. governments worked together to get Guzman in custody. The U.S. is currently seeking for Guzman to get extradited.
