Arlene Getting New Love Interest in Final Episodes?

A new IMDb posting reveals that the actress Ashley Barron will play "Pam's Treat" in episode 3 of the final season. This suggests that Pam will be getting intimate with and feasting on the young woman in some way, which may upset Tara (Rutina Wesley).

Pam and Tara got very close with each other in True Blood's sixth season, eventually developing a sexual relationship. Wesley spoke with The Huffington Post in November about their budding relationship.

"They are a good couple, Pam and Tara," Wesley said. "It's nice because Tara sort of brings out a side in Pam you don't always see. I think Pam has met her match when she's with Tara." Now that Tara has turned into a vampire, Wesley said that she enjoyed the strength that comes from that.

Very little is known about the upcoming final season of True Blood, though there has been a fair amount of details revealed about the season premiere.

The season 7 premiere of True Blood is called Jesus Gonna Be Here and is directed by Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton on the series. The episode will feature a number guest stars, including two young actresses to play the roles of Young Sooki and Young Tara.

True Blood season 7 premieres in summer 2014 on HBO, though the network has not yet scheduled a specific premiere date.
