It looks like the rumors of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi getting a divorce can be laid to rest since the talk show host addressed her marriage status on Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday.

Ellen DeGeneres Seen With A Mystery Woman?

DeGeneres and Kimmel made appearances on each other's talk shows on the same day when DeGeneres talked about divorce rumors ever since a tabloid cover revealed that she and De Rossi were splitting up.

DeGeneres started off her interview with Kimmel by discussing her busy schedule that has included taping her show every day, as well writing for her gig as host of the Oscars on Sunday, March 2.

"And I am moving at the same time, which was not thought through either," DeGeneres joked. "We are moving right after the Oscars."

Portia De Rossi Storms Out After 'Nasty Showdown?'

DeGeneres and Kimmel then started talking about making beds until he asked about DeGeneres moving away from her wife.

"So you and Portia are not moving into separate houses like I have seen in those magazines?" Kimmel asked.

DeGeneres kept her humor up and gave a sarcastic answer.

"I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told her [Portia] and she was sad, and I was like 'Oh my god!' We both were so sad!" DeGeneres said as the audience laughed. "I couldn't believe we were getting divorced, but I guess we are. They said it."

After DeGeneres said that she and her wife were happy, but it wasn't the truth, she caught herself and said, "We are happy. 'That' is the truth."

"My brain was working very fast to the other part," DeGeneres said. "We are very happy and that's the truth, and we are not getting divorced."

The talk show host also mentioned that she is not getting a divorce in an interview with People.
