Jill Hennessy (Law & Order) is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of season 5 of The Good Wife, CBS announced on Feb. 26.

Florrick/Agos Take Major Hit, Lose Important Client to Lockhart/Gardner in Next Episode?

Hennessy will be playing Rayna Hecht, a powerful lawyer, in A Few Words, which airs on March 16.

According to the synopsis, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Cary (Matt Czuchry) will be fighting to win a new partner for their firm. It seems like Rayna could be the one they'll be trying to nab.

Mayor de Blasio will also be guest starring as himself in the same episode.

Eric Bogisian will return to the show in his role as Nelson Dubeck, who is an agent in the office of public integrity.

It was recently announced the John Leguizamo will be coming on board as Cook County's new State Attorney, and taking the reigns from Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) who has now gone on to fulfill his gubernatorial duties. Leguizamo's character is a very conscientious man, and that will be translated to his role as State Attorney as well.

Michael J. Fox will also be reprising his role as Louis Canning, Alicia's nemesis in court.

Other guest stars this season have included Jeffrey Tambor, Carrie Preston, Gary Cole, America Ferrera and John Benjamin Hickey.

Hennessy has starred on three season of Law & Order in the past, and also acted in Crossing Jordan (NBC) and Luck (HBO). 

The next episode of The Good Wife airs on March 9 at 9/8c on CBS.
