Big moment for Tony DiNozzo?

Tony DiNozzo has had a tough season, especially since he lost his love Ziva. Yet, there could be some positive things coming his way. The show's executive producer Gary Glasberg teased that the season's finale will center heavily on Tony, played by Michael Weatherly.

"I'd really like to focus on and come up with something for the season finale that has a strong Tony element to it - in fact, we're about to sit down and talk about that," he recently told TV Line.

Jackson Gibbs' special moment

NCIS will acknowledge the passing of actor Ralph Waite with a memorable moment on the season finale.

"[Showrunner] Gary Glasberg and the writers are working on something special to address the passing of Ralph Waite in the season finale," said a CBS spokesperson, "to honor both the memory of Ralph, as well as the character of Jackson Gibbs."

Waite, a veteran actor whose career spanned over 50 years, died on Feb. 13 at the age of 85. He starred in NCIS as Leroy Jethro Gibbs' father.

Ziva David's return?

Since Ziva David left her team last October, fans may wonder if she will ever return for Tony. There may be hope.

"A lot of people have approached me about the idea of not shutting the door entirely on [their staying in touch], and I'm not opposed to it," Glasberg told TVLine in January. "But it has to be done in a way where it feels organic to the storytelling and we're not just throwing in lines about Ziva here and there."
