Breaking Bad has run its course, but Aaron Paul may revive Jesse Pinkman for a turn in the AMC series' spinoff, Better Call Saul.

The 34-year-old actor is considering opening up a lighter side of the drug addict in the comedic Breaking Bad prequel from series creator Vince Gilligan.

"Anything Vince is involved with, I'm there," Paul said while promoting next month's Need For Speed, according to The Associated Press. "I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days - because it's all a prequel - it would be fun."

While Better Call Saul is primarily based around Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and his unsavory dealings as a lawyer prior to Walter White's (Bryan Cranston) arrival on the scene, there is room for appearances by some of Breaking Bad's original cast members. If Gilligan can get them, that is

"They're off making big movies and doing Broadway plays and whatnot, and that's exactly the way it should be," Gilligan told Rolling Stone. "That is a high-class problem that we will have to contend with as we go forward with Better Call Saul, if we do indeed want to touch base with some of these characters."

Considering Pinkman was already a part of Albuquerque's criminal world before teaming up with White, an appearance from him seems far more plausible then one from the former chemistry teacher.

'I'd better be in Better Call Saul," Paul told On The Red Carpet during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. "I hope so. I've definitely thrown my name in the hat"
