Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen showcased their renowned bromance as they usurped Seth Meyers' brand new Late Night position.

Charles Xavier and Magneto stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Friday night, giving the young host a powerhouse ending to his inaugural week.

Along with staring side by side in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, Stewart and McKellen are also performing together in Waiting For Godot and No Man's Land at the Cort Theatre. Having spent so much time together in New York City recently, the two have developed what can only be considered a bromance as evidenced by Stewart and McKellen's Twitter pics.

The duo brought their tag team comedy to Late Night when McKellen took control of the show and Meyer's fielded interview questions initially meant for the two actors.

The two Sirs also recently discussed their frequent collaborations in an interview with BuzzFeed Brews, and admitted that no matter how much they work together, they haven't tiered of each other's company.

"You've just seen us arm in arm over there on the side," Stewart told BuzzFeed (via People)"Does that look like two people who are sick of one another?"
