American Hustle star Jennifer Lawrence fell at the Academy Awards--for the second year in a row.

The 23-year-old actress, who is up for Best Supporting Actress showed up to the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Sunday night, March 2, dressed in a strapless red Dior gown and managed to fall within minutes of walking. She was helped to her feet by boyfriend Nicholas Hoult and a police officer who was nearby. After she rose to her feet, she was cheered on by fans. 

"The cone hit me, I've cut my shin, how is my dress not dirty," she told Good Morning America correspondent Lara Spencer said moments after the fall.

Last year, Lawrence tripped on the stairs on the way to receive the Best Actress award.

At the time after finally making it to the podium, Lawrence managed a joke as she collected an Oscar for her role as a recovering sex addict in The Silver Linings Playbook.

"You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell over and that's embarrassing," she said. "This is nuts."
